Use these Free Mandala Coloring Pages to help you relax and take a break from the chaos of being a mom.
Since I became a stay-at-home mom, I find that I’m constantly stressed out. As moms, we’re always told how important it is to take time for ourselves and to focus on our mental health. Saying that is much easier said than done.
Things that used to be chores for me like getting my hair done, grocery shopping and running to the store, are now considered my “me time” when I get to do them alone.
When I was 25 I never thought that getting highlights would be something I looked forward to because I could do it alone.
But, that’s the life of a mom for a lot of us. Not everyone has family close to watch their kids so they can have time alone, and not everyone can afford to pay a babysitter. And of course moms often put themselves last.

Coloring Pages for Relaxation
In looking for ways to relax a little, without breaking the bank, I discovered coloring.
Have you noticed in the last few years the sudden popularity of adult coloring pages? It’s not something that I had ever thought to do for relaxation, but after seeing it talked about so much I decided to give it a shot.
Coloring is something I can do cheaply, at home and with my kids around. Plus, it’s something that I can do WITH my kids. They always ask me to do crafts with them and since I’ve discovered how relaxing coloring can be, my answer is always YES.
Life can be very stressful., especially for moms! That’s why it’s so important to take some time for yourself, relax and practice some self-care.

Using Mandala Coloring Pages to Relax
There are many different coloring books for moms that you can try out. This snarky coloring book for moms is one of my favorites! (If you don’t like cursing it’s not the right book for you.)
The choices for coloring books for moms and adults is pretty extensive, and although they are not expensive, they still aren’t free.
I have zero interest in coloring childrens books, so adult books were the way to go for me.
After I’d been using coloring pages for awhile and had colored the entire book, I decided to look around for some free coloring pages that I could download and print at home.
That is when I discovered Mandala Coloring Pages. They are so beautiful and intricate. Concentrating on coloring them is very relaxing, plus I love the look of the finished picture.
What is a Mandala?
A mandala, which is Sanskrit for circle, is a geometric design that is very symbolic in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. The circle symbolizes the universe, with no beginning and no end.
Mandalas are very helpful in reducing anxiety and creating a sense of calm because of the meditative effects it evokes when focusing on the different shapes it is made up of.
