Hi friends! Welcome! I’m so glad you stopped by Troubleshooting Motherhood. I’m a stay-at-home mom of three to Colton, Emma, and Wyatt, and we live on five acres in the foothills of beautiful Northern California.
With over 16 years of hands-on parenting experience, I know firsthand how overwhelming motherhood can feel. From messy homes and mental overload to pregnancy challenges and everyday parenting struggles, I’ve spent years learning practical ways to make family life more manageable.
I created Troubleshooting Motherhood to share real-life solutions that actually work for busy moms. While I don’t claim to have all the answers, I’ve discovered countless simple strategies, systems, and routines that have helped my home run more smoothly, and I love sharing those with other moms who feel overwhelmed.
One of the biggest game-changers for me has been organization. Over the years, I’ve developed simple printable charts, routines, and tools that I use every day to reduce stress and stay on top of daily life. Helping other moms find those same small wins is one of my greatest passions.
Why I Started This Real-Life Mom Blog
I started this site because I wanted a place where moms could find realistic help, not impossible standards that just make you feel more overwhelmed.
So much parenting advice online feels complicated, unrealistic, or totally disconnected from what daily life actually looks like. I wanted to share the simple systems, small fixes, and real-life “troubleshooting” solutions that have helped me handle motherhood one challenge at a time.
My goal is simple: to help other moms feel less overwhelmed, more confident, and supported through the everyday ups and downs of real-life motherhood.
What You’ll Find Here
At Troubleshooting Motherhood, I focus on practical, real-life topics that busy moms actually need help with, including:
• Cleaning tips for busy moms who feel overwhelmed
• Parenting advice for everyday family challenges
• Pregnancy and postpartum support for new moms
• Simple kids’ activities and family ideas
• Tools and routines to manage the mental load
Everything I share comes from real-life experience… things I’ve actually tried in my own home while juggling kids, messes, and the everyday chaos of mom life.
My goal is always to make things feel more manageable, not more complicated.
My Approach to Motherhood
I don’t believe in perfect homes or perfect parenting, because real life just doesn’t work that way.
I believe in simple solutions, small wins, and finding realistic ways to make everyday mom life feel less overwhelming.
Whether it’s figuring out a cleaning routine that actually sticks, handling toddler meltdowns, or surviving those exhausting newborn days, my goal is to share honest, practical support that helps moms feel a little more confident and a lot less alone.
